My Addiction ~ Graphic Design
My background in art began as a child oil painting and pencil sketching with my Dad. I would observe his brush strokes and was always fascinated as he magically brought the canvas to life. Much of the paintings I created as a young child are now scattered over the walls of his house.
I then took art as a "free skip" course in high school, and somehow stuck with it until grade 12. I didn't really like high school art because it was too confined and I could not find an avenue in that classroom to express my artistic talent.
Discovering digital design opened whole new art world up for me. I soon discovered Photoshop, Paint shop Pro, Fireworks etc and instantly became addicted, not able to leave the computer for weeks LOL.
Graphic Design & Fashion have to be my two single most addictions after my Tim Hortons coffee addiction. I truly love the virtual fashion photography industry and find myself getting lost in my 2 public photo studios just snapping random pictures for guests who drop by. I also offer free of charge to edit their photos for them which I eventually turn into collages and gift my guests. I have fallen in love with photo manipulation and creating graphics for fellow models and developers. My experience here at IMVU is a very positive one where I can create the art I love and meet like minded people who share interests similar to mine.
You can view some of my digital designs below; some of which are not related to IMVU.
